Kendall Oliver
Kendall Oliver

Chief Executive Officer / Owner

With more than 35 years in the senior housing industry, Kendall Oliver has an insider’s perspective on what it takes to design, build, staff, and market a community for older adults. His in-depth operational knowledge comes from firsthand experience.

He received his Nursing Home Administrator License (#1121) in 1988 and managed nursing homes until 1998. In 2000, he opened his first assisted living facility, Cambridge Hills Assisted Living, in Roxboro and has operated his own since. After Cambridge Hills proved a success, Kendall was convinced that he could extend his vision and operational experience into independent living business for active older adults.

In 2008, Kendall found partners, Cary Oil, and launched what has now become the Cambridge Village Optimal Living Brand, beginning with Cambridge Village of Apex. Cambridge Village of Wilmington followed in 2015, and The Cambridge Brier Creek opened in the spring of 2022. Kendall developed, constructed and operates all his facilities. Apex was constructed over 4 phases, Wilmington was built in 2 phases, and Brier Creek has built phase 1 and has another phase to build.

Kendall’s diverse skillset has enabled him to venture into a variety of other real estate projects, including office, commercial and other land development. He and his family live in Raleigh, NC, and attend Providence Church. His son Davis just graduated Liberty in May 2023 and has now joined the Cambridge Team to follow along in the family business.

Chief Financial Officer

Ashley brings over 15 years of accounting experience to Cambridge Village, with a background that includes fractional CFO services, financial advisory, taxation, and auditing. Ashley’s expertise enables her to drive financial health, support growth initiatives, and ensure fiscal responsibility across the organization.

A graduate of Lake Superior State University, Ashley holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and Business Administration.

Originally from Michigan, Ashley relocated to North Carolina in 2020. She is a proud mother of four daughters and values quality time with her family. Outside of work, Ashley enjoys traveling, attending concerts, and making lasting memories with her loved ones.

Executive Assistant to CEO

Hannah began her journey with Cambridge Village during her college years, working summers as a receptionist and café team member at Brier Creek. In May 2024, she officially joined the Cambridge Village team as an Administrative Assistant. By July 2024, she began training as a Business Office Assistant for Apex, a role she held through January 2025. Since then, she has served as Executive Assistant to the CEO, where she supports efforts to streamline operations and bring the Optimal Living vision to life.

Hannah holds a Bachelor’s degree in Public Health with a concentration in Community Health from East Carolina University. She has a strong passion for promoting and protecting community well-being by addressing the key factors that influence health outcomes.

Outside of work, Hannah enjoys catching up with friends over coffee and unwinding on weekends by watching organizing, restocking, and “clean with me” videos on social media.

Kim Leader

Corporate Business Office Manager

Kim was born in Georgia and recently moved to Wake Forest from Glendale, Arizona with her family.

She attended Swainsboro Tech where she received her Bookkeeping Certificate and has over 20 years of experience the accounting field. Prior to moving to North Carolina, she was the Accounting Coordinator for a large property management company.

She also has a background in the Hospitality industry, so that experience combined with her accounting background makes her feel right at home in her role as Business Office Manager at Brier Creek.

She loves spending time with her daughter, Jacqueline and husband, Derek. In her free time, she likes to shop with her daughter, take family trips to the beach, hang out with her fur babies, read and watch HGTV.

Shelley Chandler
Shelley Chandler

Area Sales Director

Shelley Chandler is the Sales Director and joined Cambridge Village of Apex in September 2024. She was born and raised in Apex, NC. Her roots run deep within the town, as her grandmother, Elva Maynard, was the person who coined the phrase “The Peak of Good Living.” Shelley and her husband, Robert, greatly enjoy remodeling the first house her grandparents built in 1942. She is a neighbor to the community, only living four blocks away from the community. Together Shelley and Robert have seven children, four grandchildren with another on the way due in August.

When not at work Shelley enjoys the thrill of the hunt while thrifting and antiquing. She is an avid gardener and culinary nerd want to be. Shelley’s favorite place away from home is Puerto Rico and she travels extensively every chance she gets.

Area Maintenance Director

Nick was born and raised in Louisburg, North Carolina. At the age of 12, he moved to Raleigh and has been there ever since. He has been in the maintenance industry for 17 years. Nick grew up doing home repairs with his father and learned many different trades at a young age.

At 17 he began working in the field servicing swimming pools. By the age of 20, Nick had become so proficient in the swimming pool industry that he became a specialist in his trade and would resolve issues that most technicians could not. Aside from working and fixing things with his hands, Nick also enjoys competitive swimming, computer repair, gaming, billiards, and spending time with his close friends and family.

Nick has been with Cambridge since November of 2016. As the Maintenance Director, he loves his job and loves being able to help the residents while also learning more and more every day.

Corporate Marketing Coordinator

Kendall Underwood is the Corporate Marketing Coordinator for the Cambridge communities, where she supports community outreach, brand development, and strategic marketing efforts. Kendall is a native North Carolinian and is a graduate of East Carolina University (go Pirates!).

Kendall brings energy, creativity, and a love of connection to her role. Her passion for senior living was inspired by her own grandparents’ move to a community. She is motivated to share the story of vibrant, independent living with seniors exploring community options and their families.

Outside of work, Kendall enjoys spending time with family and friends, practicing Pilates, and staying active in the equestrian world as a lifelong rider.

Caitlin oversees the accounts receivable and payable processes for our communities, ensuring smooth and efficient financial operations. She recently earned a B.S. in Business Analytics from UNC Wilmington, where she built a strong foundation in financial analysis and data-driven decision-making. Originally from Raleigh, Caitlin is excited to be back after spending the past four years in Wilmington.

Outside of work, she enjoys running, spending time with family and friends, and exploring Raleigh’s many scenic trails.

Senior Executive Director

Sean Yule is excited to join the Cambridge Village team as Senior Executive Director, bringing over 27 years of senior living and hospitality experience. He has served in a wide range of roles across all levels of senior living—bringing leadership expertise to Independent Living, Assisted Living, and community life services. His career includes work in existing communities, new builds, major renovations, and successful start-ups, giving him a unique perspective on every stage of community development and operations.

Known for his hands-on approach, Sean looks forward to working closely with the leadership of all three Cambridge Village communities and the corporate team to champion the organization’s mission and deliver an exceptional resident experience.

Originally from Kailua, Hawaii, Sean now calls Apex, NC home with his wife Kristy and their daughters, Hannah and Olivia, along with their two dogs, Bruce and Ellie.

Jessica comes to The Cambridge at Brier Creek with over 17 years of experience in the senior living industry. She has enjoyed serving residents and families in the past as Marketing & Sales Director, Community Relations Coordinator and Customer Service Liaison.

Jessica enjoys taking every opportunity to educate herself and has gone back to school to obtain a Business Administration Marketing & Sales Certificate and Business Administration Advertising & Digital Media Certificate.

Born and raised in sunny San Diego, California Jessica moved to North Carolina over 30 years ago where she then met and married her husband. They now have three grown children and have increased the family with a wonderful son-in-law.

Outside of the office you may find Jessica and her family walking, biking, hiking, or kayaking around the Raleigh area or in the North Carolina mountains.

Jamie, a native North Carolinian, was born and raised in Raleigh, NC. She attended the University of North Carolina at Greensboro where she earned her degree in Recreational Therapy with a minor in Spanish.

Jamie has always desired to work with the senior population since she was a little girl. She has a passion for helping others. She has worked in the senior living industry for 6 years. She enjoys helping others and meeting new people. She enjoys meeting with families and future residents to help them navigate through the senior living process.

Jamie’s favorite slogan to live by is… “Be so happy that when others look at you, they become happy too.”

Jamie is married and lives on a farm in Oxford, NC with her husband, Clay. They have a daughter named Dawsyn. When she is not working, Jamie loves to spend time with her family, bow hunt, boat, indoor cycle, tend to chickens, and hang out with friends.

Katie graduated from East Carolina University with a Bachelor’s in Nutrition and Dietetics and went on to complete her Dietetic Internship through Meredith College. While her career began in nutrition, Katie quickly discovered her true passion lies in building relationships and guiding others through life’s important decisions.

As Sales Director at The Cambridge at Brier Creek, Katie is dedicated to helping individuals and families find the right place to call home. She loves getting to know each person’s story and making sure their needs are met with care, compassion, and understanding.

Outside of work, Katie enjoys working out, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.

Sarah is originally from Tolland, CT and a graduate from Eastern Connecticut State University. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Marketing and has been in the Hospitality industry ever since. She was previously in roles such as Operations Management, Catering Director, and Director of Member Experience at a Country Club. Sarah joined The Cambridge team in 2023 and has been an energizer bunny ever since. She loves planning and partaking in as many resident activities as she can think of!

When Sarah is not at work you can find her out on the lake, hanging with friends and family, playing adult kickball, or taking her German Shepard, Panda, for a walk! She loves to travel and has a long bucket list of places to see one day. Sarah loves getting to know all the residents, having fun at activities and loves coming to work every day!

Dani began her journey at the Cambridge at Brier Creek in November 2021 as the community’s first hourly employee. Born and raised in New Hampshire, Dani moved to the Brier Creek area in 2016 to pursue both educational and professional opportunities. A dedicated and driven student, she graduated high school as the Valedictorian while simultaneously completing dual enrollment courses at Durham Tech Community College. In May 2025, Dani graduated Summa Cum Laude from North Carolina State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a minor in Business Administration.

Dani’s passion for understanding people and improving organizational culture led her to continue her education. She is currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Industrial-Organizational Psychology at Meredith College. Her long-term goal is to design and implement leadership development programs that support the growth of young professionals.

Throughout her time at The Cambridge at Brier Creek, Dani has taken on various roles, including Wellness Attendant and Receptionist, before being promoted to her current position in 2025 as the Move-In Coordinator. Outside of her academic and professional commitments, Dani enjoys reading, playing games, dancing, listening to music, and exploring new cafes. Her well-rounded background and commitment to growth reflect both her strong work ethic and her enthusiasm for helping others succeed.

Stuart joined the Cambridge Village team in December of 2018 as the Corporate Project Manager. Having graduated from Wake Tech Community College with an Associate Degree in Industrial Systems Technology, Stuart comes from a diverse background that includes working in tobacco, residential construction and the food and beverage industry.

Prior to joining Cambridge, Stuart was in Utility Construction Management for the past ten years. Helping to build the Optimal Living® vision and managing the expansion of the company is an exciting undertaking for Stuart as he strives for and promotes “Teamwork”. He understands that a business is only as good as the team players with a positive attitude striving for the same vision.

Stuart enjoys spending with family and considers his friends his extended family. He and his wife Caitlin have been married for four years and are expecting a son in September 2019. He and Caitlin attend his hometown church, Theresa Baptist Church in Roxboro, North Carolina.

Stuart enjoys most outdoor activities which include training his bird dog, gardening, deep sea fishing, grilling and traveling. He is excited to learn and participate in the explosion of Optimal Living® through Cambridge Village.

Food & Beverage Director

Michael was born and raised in Wilmington, NC. He enjoys traveling, trying new foods, disc golf and meeting new people. Michael first began cooking at The Dive in Carolina Beach for a year before he transitioned to Havana’s Seafood and worked his way down the line by mastering the grill, learning his way through sauté, and running the expo window. After working at Havana’s for about 3 years he made his way to Wrightsville Beach to work at Fish House Grill and was the lead cook there for about 3 years before coming to the Cambridge Village team. Here is where he worked his way up from Line Cook, to Kitchen Manager and eventually became the Executive Chef of our Wilmington location. Since then he helped open The Cambridge at Brier Creek and established a stellar dining experience from day one.

Housekeeping Director

Alfreda (also known as Freda), is orginially from Moncure, NC. She now resides in Pittsboro, NC with her two daughters Makayla and Aubrey. Freda previously worked in retail for 20 years and was part of the North Carolina National Guard. Prior to accepting the position of Housekeeping Director for The Cambridge at Brier Creek in 2022, Freda worked in the Housekeeping Department at Cambridge Village of Apex since 2014.

Freda enjoys spending time working with a nonprofit organization in her hometown called the 3 Rivers Coalition where they give back to the community. Along with her two daughters, she also has a son, Cameron, who is in the Air Force, stationed in Clovis, New Mexico. Freda loves to travel, arts and crafts, and having a fun-loving, relaxing time with family and friends.

Kaitlyn was born and raised in Raleigh North Carolina and attended North Carolina State University. There she cultivated her passion for animals getting a Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science. This has led her to work and volunteer on horse farms in Eastern North Carolina. During that time, she also worked in customer service developing a passion for serving people. She hopes to bring this same dedication to serving others to her time at the Cambridge and share a “my pleasure” when she can.

Living in Clayton, NC, Kaitlyn has time to enjoy many activities in the area. She can often be found volunteering and working on her favorite horse farm or hiking the many trails throughout North Carolina. Kaitlyn also, enjoys reading a good book, doing arts and crafts projects, and gardening when she’s not at work. She happens to be the proud owner of several fish including her betta fish, Spiderman.

Executive Director

Dara is originally from Richmond, VA. She moved to the area in 1999. She has her Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Studies from the University of North Carolina Wilmington, and she obtained her Real Estate Brokers license in 2006 and remains active.

She has 20 years of experience in Condo-tel Hospitality and Homeowner’s Association Management. She has a passion for her owners and guests to make experiences in owning vacation rentals pleasant while making her guests have memorable vacations.

She has assisted in leading multiple construction and building projects, condo renovations and emergency management situations during hurricanes over the years. Forming a cohesive staff is one of her greatest passions as having the right TEAM builds success for everyone. Dara believes in leading by example. She naturally has a genuine love for people and a servant heart. Dara is blessed to have one son in high school and an amazing husband who serves in local law enforcement.

She helps lead praise and worship at her church and spreads joy to everyone she meets. She has never met a stranger, get ready for a firm handshake or a warm hug. She is very much looking forward to calling Cambridge Village her new home and is excited to work hard for the residents and alongside the staff.

Pierrette joined Cambridge Village as an original member of our pre-opening team contributing her strong background in hospitality, sales, and marketing to the community.

In her role as the Community Consultant Director, Pierrette introduces prospective residents to our hybrid offering which helps to educate them on our unique approach to senior living. Her favorite thing about working at Cambridge is listening to the great stories people share with her. Born in New York, raised in Pennsylvania, and making her way to Wilmington by way of Maryland, Pierrette is a great ambassador for our coastal community.

She is passionate about her faith, her family, and our Optimal Living fitness program. In her free time, we can find Pierrette working out and keeping up with her quest… the push-up challenge!

As the Resident Relations Director at Cambridge Village, Colby brings warmth, empathy, and over a decade of experience in customer service and community engagement to her role. She is the heart behind many of the meaningful connections formed within the community, serving as a trusted resource and advocate for residents and their families.

Colby is passionate about creating a welcoming environment where each resident feels seen, heard, and supported. From coordinating personalized move-in experiences to helping families navigate transitions with dignity and care, she leads with compassion and a deep understanding of the aging journey. Her attention to detail and commitment to follow-through help ensure that no concern goes unnoticed and that every resident’s voice matters.

Whether she’s planning special events, communicating care plans, or simply sharing a friendly smile in the hallway, Colby’s genuine approach fosters trust and encourages lasting relationships that are at the core of Cambridge Village’s vibrant culture.

Andrew DiMauro

Maintenance Director

Andrew is your go-to guy for maintenance and repairs. Originally from Higganum, CT, Andrew moved to NC in March 2014 with his wife and two children. He came to Cambridge Village in 2015 and has since become a vital part of the CVW team.

Andrew describes himself and his wife, Rachel, as “simple folk” who love just being outdoors and on the water. When he isn’t at work, you’ll find him fishing or firing up the grill.

Executive Chef Anthony Oneil Green, Sr. is a very diverse Chef whose background ranges from Fine Cuisine to Southern Food. He is a man who prefers actions with tangible results rather than promises and words. His experience goes from Country Club, Resorts, Hotels down to Military Bases. He participates in cook-off contests as well as training teams to compete in competitions. Anthony helps give back to the community in which he found creative satisfaction.

Chef Green, originally from Georgetown, SC, moved to Wilmington, NC, to wed his long-time friend and elementary school sweetheart 14 years ago. The couple has three sons and three adorable grandchildren. Anthony enjoys playing candy crush & watching movies with his family.

Chef Green developed an appreciation for southern-style cuisine in his early years from his mother. He began his culinary career at 14, working at Rosa Linda’s Mexican Restaurant in Murrells Inlet, SC. Chef Green continued his culinary studies at Coastal University in South Carolina. He combines his learning from other Master Chefs and his mother, who loved to cook southern food. Chef Green loves using fresh herbs and other garnishes. The smell and taste of his delicious, crunchy golden fried chicken is something to write about! As a seasoned talent with extensive experience in the culinary arena, Chef Green is committed to delivering great food and service to Cambridge Village Residents.

Housekeeping Director

Joy Tranfaglia comes to us from Massachusetts, where she was born and raised. Joy is the oldest of 5 children and her role has always been that of a caregiver. Making people happy is what drives Joy every day. For the past 12 years, Joy owned and operated her own cleaning company. While working in the insurance industry as Department Supervisor for an “On the Job” injury claims department, Joy started cleaning to supplement her income. She quickly grew from one client a week to 30 a week, giving her the opportunity to follow the American Dream of entrepreneurship. Joy concentrated on providing consistent thorough cleanings. Her list of clients included Residential and Commercial cleans and during the summer season in the Northeast she catered to 15 recurring vacation rentals. She specialized in not only cleaning and organizing for her clients, but also offered landscaping and property management services, maintaining a 5 star experience for her clients. Joy went from a solo cleaner to managing 7 housekeepers and 3 landscapers. Focusing on creating that and all-inclusive experience for her clients. Certain current events slowed her business down and Joy began looking for other opportunities. After visiting family in Sneads Ferry, NC; Joy decided that it was time to relocate to warmer temperatures. The cold northeast was soon in her review mirror and she relocated herself and her 2 dogs to Jacksonville NC in August of 2021. Joy loves animals, gardening, and music. Joy is a Mom of a young man, named Marcus. She has 2 doodles named Jennay and Benjamin Buford Blue aka “Bubba”, named after the characters from her favorite movie” Forest Gump”. Joy had a Forest, also a doodle, but he is sadly no longer with us. Forest was her favorite above all, as she loved to yell “Run Forest Run” and he would comply every time.

Jamie joined the Cambridge Wilmington team in 2016. She stayed home raising their kids for several years, until she found her passion in cosmetology where she was led to working with the senior community. Jamie was raised in Nevada, shortly after marring her Highschool sweetheart they moved to Southern Utah. In 2013 the sense of adventure led them to North Carolina. They have raised four children, 3 boys and 1 girl. When not working they enjoy spending their time treasure hunting in antique markets, flea markets and yard sales. They also enjoy hunting for shark teeth and fossils on the beaches of North Carolina. Jamie and her husband Joe are currently working on their bucket list, now that their nest is empty. Jamie also enjoys feeding a crowd and loves having the family all gathered around for games, food and fun.

Jessanna brings over 10 years of experience in senior living and enrichment, with a strong dedication to creating engaging, supportive environments for older adults. A graduate of UNC Wilmington, she is passionate about enhancing quality of life through meaningful programs and connection. Her work reflects a deep commitment to the well-being of the senior community and a thoughtful approach to care and enrichment.

A lifelong Wilmington local, Jessanna loves the community she calls home. She is married with two children and enjoys spending her free time outdoors. She is also a hobby beekeeper, and loves tending to her hives and connecting with nature.

Wellness Director

Melissa brings over 18 years of experience in the fitness industry, backed by a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science and multiple certifications including personal training, group fitness, older adults, and Yoga. With a background in competitive dance and more than a decade of teaching several styles of dance to both children and adults, she blends her diverse expertise to offer a dynamic and well-rounded approach to fitness training.

Outside of fitness, Melissa enjoys spending her time reading, traveling, and learning new things. Whether she’s immersed in a good book or exploring a new city, she values experiences that inspire curiosity, growth, and connection.

I have over 30 years of bookkeeping/Human Resource and office management experience. I most recently spent 17 years managing a Christian radio station in California. I am a 5th generation Californian who packed up everything we owned and made the drive to NC sight unseen.

CVW is my first opportunity to work in Senior living but have found a passion and a calling working with our residents since Aug of 2024. I love this building and everyone in it.

I have two daughters and 5 grandchildren which are regular visitors in the community.

I’m someone who genuinely loves connecting with people and making their lives a little easier. Over the last 10+ years, I’ve worked in sales, education, caregiving, and even launched some entrepreneurial projects—and no matter the role, helping others has always been at the heart of what I do. I’m great at building real relationships, staying grounded when things get busy, and finding solutions that actually fit the person in front of me.

Outside of work, I’m married to my high-school sweetheart, and we have two amazing boys and one cat. My faith is a big part of who I am—I’m a lover of Jesus and try to live in a way that reflects Him. I’m also a worship leader at my church, and serving others is something that brings me a lot of joy and purpose.

I’m all about clear communication, thoughtful listening, and creating a supportive space for the people around me. I’m motivated by meaningful connections and seeing others grow.

I grew up in Greensboro, NC and moved to Wilmington to attend the University of North Carolina at Wilmington and received my B.S. degree in Business Administration and Finance. I am an avid soccer player and play for a Semi-Professional soccer team in Wilmington. As well as soccer I am passionate about Aviation and will be pursuing my Private Pilot’s License.

“Brian is a lifelong North Carolina resident. He received his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from NC State and has called the Triangle area home for 40 years. Brian managed the sales and marketing efforts for the NC State University Athletics Department for more than 25 years. He also spent five years as the marketing and tenant relations director for Crabtree Valley Mall before joining Cambridge Village in 2021.

Brian holds a North Carolina real estate license and became interested in the field of senior living while pursuing specialized training as a Seniors Real Estate Specialist (SRES). He enjoys getting to know each individual resident and helping the team deliver an optimal living experience for each community member.

Brian and his wife have two adult children, a golden retriever and a corgi. They enjoy traveling to the beach and the mountains in their spare time.

Terry Dobyne

Executive Assistant

Terry, the youngest of four, was born and raised in southern Maryland. She spread her wings to the west coast and earned her bachelor’s degree in accounting from Western Washington University.

After college, Terry stayed in the Pacific Northwest for 15 years, where she prides her love of small-town feels, mountains, oceans, and incense oil (fragrance of any sort, really). She moved back to the east coast in 2007.

She is the mom of three young adult children who are pursuing their own passions. She re-entered the workforce at Cambridge Village in 2019 when her youngest was about to go to college. In her time away from work she enjoys exploring new areas, visiting anywhere with water, chasing sunsets, taking lots of pictures, shelling, admiring the moon and stars, spending time with her family and learning about and trying a variety of red blend wines.

Terry has held many roles in which she has gained a vast knowledge of the operations at Cambridge. In 2024 she was promoted to Assistant Executive Director. Her favorite part of working at Cambridge is being part of the lives of so many wonderful residents and gaining wisdom every day.

Sales Director

Jordan Norwood is the Sales Assistant/Move coordinator at Cambridge Village of Apex, keeping transitions running smoothly and assisting in keeping the team in step. She enjoys organizing, problem-solving, and bringing a little humor and positivity to the workday. When she’s not at work, Jordan loves yoga, fishing, and is always looking for ways to stay curious and engaged.

Executive Chef

A graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Andy joined the team at Cambridge Village in 2023. He is a seasoned chef with decades of experience in the culinary arts. For 25 years, he served as the executive chef at the North Carolina Museum of Art.

Outside of the kitchen, Andy is an animal lover, enjoys gardening, film and the outdoors. He resides in Apex with his wife Jennifer, their two teenage children and several pets.”

Patrick Schrader
Patrick Schrader

Wellness Director

Patrick is originally from upstate NY and lived the Utica/Rome area for most of his life. He attended the State University of New York at Oswego, where he earned a BS in Biochemistry with a Health Science minor in 2010.

He then continued his academic career at the University at Buffalo with an MS in Exercise Science MS in 2012. After spending the next four years in a management position, Patrick refocused his professional career in health and wellness as an Assistant Personal Training Director with LA Fitness in Buffalo, NY.

In May 2018, he relocated to North Carolina to take a position as an Exercise Physiologist at a physical therapy clinic where he supervised the wellness and aquatic programs.

Outside of his role as Wellness Director with Cambridge Village of Apex, Patrick enjoys staying active with strength training, hiking, obstacle course racing, and spending time outdoors.

He is also a live music enthusiast and has attended more than 300 concerts! In January 2019, Patrick adopted a plant-based lifestyle so, if you’ve ever been curious about veganism, he’d be happy to answer any questions!

Front of House Manager

Kevin is a native of Raleigh, NC and has lived here his entire life. Kevin has family that lives along the East Coast from New York down to Florida. Kevin has 3 daughters, Amaiyah (14), Ariyah (5) and Alaiyah (3). Kevin has a younger sister that also lives in Raleigh along with his mother.

Kevin has been working in the Healthcare field for 24 years. Kevin started as a part-time server/dishwasher and gradually moved up by taking on more and more responsibilities from his supervisors over the years.

Kevin spent 20 years working at Woodland Terrace as a Lead Server and got promoted to Dining Room Manager 17 years ago. He has also worked at Glenaire and Brookdale North Raleigh part-time while working at Woodland Terrace. He’s a huge sports and music fan. Kevin follows the Dallas Cowboys, Baltimore Ravens, Carolina Panthers, Carolina Tar Heels and Alabama Crimson Tide football.”

Leslie is from a small town called Moncure, NC, where she has lived all her life, although she briefly moved to Georgia while her husband was serving in the military. Leslie has three sons and seven grandkids, six girls and one boy.

In her spare time, Leslie loves spending time with her family, keeping up with her grandkids, and listening to music Leslie has been employed here at Cambridge Village for thirteen years where she has grown to love and care deeply for our residents.

Whitney Harmin

Resident Relations Director

Whitney is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and graduate of East Carolina University, where she completed both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Social Work. She brings extensive experience providing psychotherapy and supportive services to adults 55+ within assisted living and skilled nursing communities. Whitney also previously served as a Community Navigator, overseeing resident supports, services, and case management across all levels of care.

A North Carolina native, Whitney lives in Fuquay-Varina with her husband, Calvin, and their two cats. In her free time, she enjoys crafting, baking, gardening, thrifting, traveling, attending concerts, and spending time with family and friends.
